Many workers in Canada spend a lot of hours at their desks. Students also spend many hours without moving on chairs. Wrong sitting and sleeping habits can cause skeletal damage to people.
One of the most important problems in the workplace (having a seated position for employees) is the wrong position of employees. One of the most important reasons for creating a false posture is the unconscious movement of the person forward.
The office and student chair cannot be a completely ergonomic product but technological and ergonomic ideas can be used to reduce skeletal problems.

Our startup’s product is a seat cover that analyzes the type of people sitting with smart sensors and calculates the pressure on the back of the seat. The obtained data is used to warn of “false posture”.
To do this, a cover with pressure sensors is added to the person’s seat. The veneer senses the contact position of the person’s hip, waist and neck at all hours and provides a complete account of the shape of the user’s spine. If the deviation from the standard state exceeds the dangerous limit, the user or administrator will be given the necessary warning.
